Ben Grant, the son of Conservative MP Helen Grant, was among the mercenaries who went to Ukraine. This was found out by the publication i.

Grant, 30, who has five years of experience in the Royal Marines’ Special Forces battalion, is related to MP Helen Grant. She has been sitting in Parliament for 12 years and has been Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s special representative for girls’ education for 12 years.

According to the publication, Ben Grant was caught on video during combat in northeastern Ukraine. He was leading a group of British and American fighters trying to destroy a Russian APC from about a hundred meters away. At one point, Grant ordered his subordinate to fire a Matador grenade launcher at the armored vehicle and control the jet from the grenade launcher behind him.

On May 27, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) stated that British and Moroccan citizens who were captured were involved in the fighting in Donbass and could face the death penalty. According to Viktor Gavrilov, head of the department for investigating crimes against peace and human security at the DNR Prosecutor General’s Office, the agency has completed an investigation into a group of foreign mercenaries suspected of violent seizure of power, mercenarism and committing crimes by a group of individuals.

The two Britons, Sean Pinner and Aiden Eslin, were captured during fighting in Ukraine in April. They later asked British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to exchange them for Ukrainian opposition politician Viktor Medvedchuk, who had been detained by Kiev security forces.
